Poema inspirado em Shakespeare

 

Este poema de minha autoria foi selecionado e  FAZ PARTE do livro SHAKESPEARE SINGS publicado na Índia em 2017. A proposta era escrever poemas inspirados nas peças do autor. Escolhi uma das falas do Bobo e criei o poema: 

KING LEAR AND THE FOOL 

I opened an egg

in the middle,

dividing the whole

into halves .

I ate its core

and the heart

will be mine.

There remain

two halves

and it is necessary to find out

what to do with that which is not whole.

You peeled

the two halves

and nothing remains in the middle.

There is no more

heart

for your enjoyement

or to nourish you.

Now

we are spoils

and we lost the whole.

We can

only walk

in the middle of nowhere,

fool and king

trying to forget:

you, what you lost,

I, what I never found.
