Poema
Meu poema que foi um dos vencedores em concurso na Índia:
SMILE
I know now
I do not need my mouth to smile,
my eyes burn the silence.
I also, discovered
I do not need huges to smile,
one flower in the pot is enough.
I'm sure yet
that my gums bleed
but the intention grows white and red
between my lips.
I recognize
the strangeness of this smile,
injured before being born,
crushed before it is built,
spent before starting,
but such existence offers
everything that shaped
the forms of my body,
the air circling mu lungs.
Death ad Life
have designed
my smile
in exact measure
and this is, of all,
my best work of art.
